We've got hair...

Mia's hair grows longer every day! I tried to capture a bed head photo, but she didn't like the idea of public humiliation... Mia is spending her days basking in the pool, or attending KinderMusic, Gym Class, or just lounging at Nordstrom's Cafe with Mommy! Rough life... Where do I sign up?

More Easter Gifts...

Mia got all sorts of great gifts this week! Grandma & Grandpa (Ellis & Margaret) sent a cute, furry bunny that Mia absolutely loves! This picture pretty well explains her feelings for her new fuzzy little friend... She can't wait to see her Grandparent's during their April visit!

Easter Gifts!

Aunt Chrisy sent a bunch of really fun books for Easter! Mia is really into reading after her evening bath and loved the new books. It gives her the opportunity to practice her stuidous look! What do you think, is it working? Thanks Aunt Chrissy, Mia can't wait to see you soon!

Livin Large!

This weekend Mia & her cousins were focused on 'livin large', with a little support from Dad & Papa. Nothing like a crazy day of swimming to wear down the little ones...

Swim Kisses...

On Saturday we spent the afternoon swimming with Mia's grandparents and cousins. Mia absolutely loves the pool, although she's partial to the hot tub! She'll be starting swim lessons next month. While lounging in the pool, Mia felt it appropriate to give tongue kisses to Mommy & Daddy! Who are we to deny a little girl's wishes... So sweet!

Brusha Brusha!

It is truly amazing what Stacy is able to teach this little girl to do... At 13 months she is brushing her own teeth! I swear to god this is not a staged photo. Our little midget is better with a tooth brush at 13 months than her Dad is at 35 years of age! Pure genius...

Uno!

Mia always has so much fun playing with Papa! (Stacy's Dad) Here he's seen prepping her Uno skills for her cousin's pending arrival... This scene was preceded by rigorous cardio activity, and a harsh diet of cheesecake & animal crackers! You didn't think this level of beauty came effortlessly, did you?!

Crazy Cousins...

Mia's cousins Alec, Gavin & Hadley are visiting for the next week. Mia is having so much fun it's incredible. Here Gavin is seen helping Mia learn the fashionable new trend of the backward baseball cap! Soon we'll be introducing the world to M Diddy... aka Mia Dogg!

The Best!!

Tell me this kid isn't the best... The greatest part is that she's finally reaching an age where Dad can toss the midget around and she loves it! Especially the barrel rolls...

Blowing Bubbles...

On Saturday I bought some bubbles for Mia to play with. Turns out Sofia loves them too... The two of them were both so baffled, yet intrigued, by this new source of joy! Mia's sense of exploration and discovery is so fun to watch. It's shocking to see the ever accelerating pace of her learning. Sometimes I think I'm more fascinated by this whole experience than she is!

Ride 'em Cow Girl...

Mia has decided that it is oh so much fun to climb up on Mommy or Daddy's legs and ride the bucking bronc! She screams and squeals as she hangs on for dear life... It's so cute, she actually has a little routine down. About 2 minutes facing Mom or Dad, then she carefully climbs off, turns around, climbs back on, and does another 2 minutes facing the other direction. We're going to need to get her a little pair of chaps soon! She should feel right at home at Hubbard's Lodge this summer in Montana...

Dubman Visit!

This past weekend we had Kenny, Kathleen & Molly visit us from Jersey. As you can see by the photo, the girls had a great time playing together! I believe this was story hour... We visited the Zoo on Saturday, as well as making a little Mommy Spa time. On Sunday night we went out for a bit to see one of Kenny's old band members playing at a local Scottsdale bar. Total 80's hair metal retro. It was quite entertaining! We had a great time and Mia is still wondering where her playmate went...
