Quite the Little Lady!

Mommy & Mia attended a fashion show for Nancy & Eben's kids school. It was so cute to see our little midget all done up like a little lady! She even found an apple juice martini and carried it around in a very proper manner... Don't let the elegant look fool you, she's was probably doing head stands moments before!

Aunt Ruthellen

Mommy & Daddy were in a bind for a babysitter last weekend, and Mia's Great Aunt Ruthellen came to the rescue! She had so much fun playing with her Great Aunt... Thanks Ruthie!

Too Stunning Not to Post!

I think she was going for the Lion King look here!

Yipee, it's Spring!

On Sunday we headed to the pool at the Club for a little sunshine & splashing! Mia is going to be re-enrolled in swim lessons shortly. Last year she pretty much failed her swim class... Carrying on the strong Lovell academic record! She had a blast hanging with cousin Nick and sure didn't forget where they keep the ice cream!!

Our Little Devil...

Yep, it's official, she's grown a tail! Note the neat and orderly home around our crazy devil... Lucky for her, she's worth it!!

Say Cheese!

Mia is so used to having her picture taken that she now poses for the shot, and then immediately wants to see the camera to see how she looks... We even got her a little plastic toy camera. Here she is insisting that we take pictures of ourselves at the same time! She actually handed me the camera and positioned me for this shot!! Too cute...

Ice Cream, Anyone?

Well, we thought we were doing a good job of raising our daughter in a healthy manner. Then, one day I awoke to realize that my daughter has discovered sweets! Yep, she' in love with ice cream cones, candy, juice boxes, you name it... I guess it was inevitable!

The Queens of Rodeo Drive!

Of course we had to spend some time on Rodeo Drive while visiting LA! Here are the Queens as they perused the shops and dreamt of ways to bankrupt Daddy... In fact, Mommy had the great idea that for Mia's 16th birthday we should take her back their for a day of shopping! Um, let me think about that one. How about NO!

Mia's Favorite!

While in LA, Mia got to spend more quality time with Papa! She is absolutely in love with Stacy's Dad and couldn't be more entertained by his ability to relate and entertain her... Here they are trying on hats at Nike Town. If you haven't noticed, there is a distinct trend of Mia being into guys! I'm not sure how this bodes for her teenage years...

The Little Traveler...

Last weekend we flew to LA for a family reunion on Stacy's Mom's side. We had a wonderful time seeing all the family we hadn't seen in so long, and Mia had an absolute blast! There were ten cousins all under ten years old. Mia fit right into the mix and had an exhausting weekend of rough play! Every time we'd get in the car she'd pass out cold... She also decided that she couldn't travel without her own suit case. Here she is, with cousin Alec, ensuring that her Princess suitcase was always close by! It's impressive to watch the spectacle she creates in airports. She's so cute to begin with, but then to see our little midget beauty so focused on dragging her own suit case, and refusing help, creates so many comments and oohs and ahs... I swear I'm half expecting people to begin asking for her autograph!! As always, she's the best!

Mary Bear Goes Potty!

Mia is inching her way towrds potty training! We recently began putting her on the potty before her bath each night. She's growing more curious by the day, and wants to make sure her teddy bears are not excluded... Here she is putting Mary Bear on the potty and getting her some toilet paper! Adorable...

Don't I Look Cute?!

Mia has her picture taken so often that she poses for the camera now, and then immediately says, "Me see!". Apparently she wants to ensure that she looks good for her blog... Here she is posing in the 'sleepy yet trying to be cute' pose! She's a looker.

Naked Matzo Ball Soup!

Mia is absolutely in love with Mommy's matzo ball soup! There is no other food item that she gets so excited about eating, and she simply shovels it down... So here is our little midget deciding that she would mimic Daddy and eat dinner without a shirt on! Nothing like being comfortable while eating your favorite dinner!!

Purim Party!

This week Mia celebrated the Jewish holiday Purim at school with a little party that Mommy brought snacks for! She enjoyed the celebration and looked adorable as always...

Kitty Love!

Mia and Sofia, our cat, have grown very close! It took Sofia about a year of living in hiding before she realized that Mia wasn't going anywhere... Now Mia says good night each evening and gives Sofia treats in the morning! Their blossoming friendship is adorable.

Mia's New Playhouse!!!

Daddy has been promising for weeks that he would build the midget a playhouse... Finally, after working long into the night, the deed is done! This morning we took Mia outside to see her new home and she absolutely freaked. Here she is peaking through her puppet show stage! I'm pretty sure she's going to try and sleep out there now... We love her, and nothing is more enjoyable than making her smile!

Rock-a-bye Baby!

Mommy caught a picture of our sweet angel rocking her bear to sleep the other day! She was singing a lullaby and helping the little bear get comfortable for his nap... She's now entering the mothering phase, and it's so cute to see her putting diapers on her bears, ensuring they get to eat breakfast each morning and then tucking them in at night! She's the sweetest...

Happy Chinese New Year!

As many of you know, Mommy sits on the board of the FCC. (Families with Children from China) Each year they put together a large celebration for Chinese New Year, as well as to raise funds for the group. Well, as you can imagine, Mommy outdid herslef like usual... She hosted the raffle portion of the event and put together some absolutely amazing prizes! Over 400 people showed up for an afternoon of fun and relaxation. The event was an absolute blast. We're so proud of our Momma!!

Best Friend!

Here is Mia with her favorite person in the whole wide world!! Nicholas, her cousin, has spent a bunch of time with us in the past year, and Mia is totally enamored... When we go to his basketball games she screams "Go Nick!", while everyone else is silent. It's amazingly sweet. Here they are celebrating Chinese New Year together at a recent FCC event that Mommy helped put together. Best friends!!
