Curly Girl...

It truly is amazing the difference in personality from one child to the other.  Mia is completely obsessed with skateboarding, and spends her days prepping for the X Games, which she is certain she is going to earn a gold medal at...  Aubrey, on the other hand, is about as feminine and girly as could be.  She loves to get her nails done, and relishes going to get her hair cut and curled!!  So shortly after returning from the hair salon and having me take this photo to document her beauty, it was tubby time.  However, she was adamant that she couldn't lose her curls, so she put her hair in a bun on her head and wouldn't let Daddy wash it!  For real...  I'm frightened.

Family Time!

It's so amazing to see the bond that has developed between the kids...  As babies, they used to fight constantly.  Now don't get me wrong, they clearly still have their moments.  However, more often than not they spend their days developing elaborate themes to their play, converting their play house to some faraway place, or just spending a little quality time watching a movie together, as they are doing above.  We are very lucky to have such wonderful kids!

Tubby Time!

Brandon absolutely loves running around the house naked after his evening tubby!  The kid is a total kook and a true entertainer at heart...  And, I might add, a handsome little devil.

Twin's Bday Party!

Momma rented out the entire jump facility for about 70 of Aubrey and Brandon's 'closest' friends..  Aye, aye, aye!  I suppose nothing says I love you like excess! After several hours of jumping, the kids retreated to a Star Wars themed room, big surprise, and a Princess themed room.  I'll give you one guess as to where Mia hung out?!?!  It was a great day...

Happy 4th Birthday Twinkies!!

This was certainly the year of the Star Wars birthday celebration!  Brandon could hardly contain himself over his life size Dart Vader figure.  Strangely, we got him the same thing at Xmas and he was just as excited this time around... The little crazies have grown so quickly, and bring such amazing energy to our family. We certainly have diversity of personality!

Shabbat Parents!

Every Friday a different family volunteers to lead the Shabbat festivities at the Twins' school.  Being the Twins' birthday, it was a lock that we would be leading things this week.  Mommy even let Mia play hooky for the day to attend...  It's always so fun to watch Aubrey recite the prayers so seriously, while Brandon is making faces and trying to snatch bites of Challah bread!  Which pretty much sums up the difference in their personalities.  It was a great way to start a weekend of birthday festivities!!

Family Party for Twins!

The day before the Twins' birthday we had Grandma and Grandpa over for a little pre-birthday celebration!  After dinner and cake the twins opened gifts, which pretty much centered around their current obsession, STAR WARS...  It was so sweet to see Mia & Aubs getting along so well...

Veritas Field Day!

Every year Mia's school, Veritas, has a Field Day where the kids get to lose their uniforms for a day, each class is renamed after a Greek civilization, and they participate in planned events from obstacle courses to the tug of war.  I'm proud to announce that for the second year in a row, Mia's class took first place!!!  She was so excited, and is so uber competitive...  Daddy always volunteers and runs the tug of war.  A great day of team work and victory!

Legoland Girls Trip!

As has become an annual tradition, Mommy & Mia spent a weekend in California at LEGOLAND for a little post birthday celebration.  It's a girls weekend that Mia loves, and Momma cherishes...  This year Auntie Caren brought cousins Gavin & Hadley down for some LEGOLAND fun.  Mia absolutely adores her cousins, and had an amazing time with Momma!
